“Sisters By Heart Not By Blood” by Regine Bechtler: This mixed media sculpture represents the unshakable bond between two friends who may be opposites in many ways (represented by the juxtaposition of black and white) but despite the odds have been to hell and back together. They may not be related by blood, but they are linked by the intense experience of laughing and crying together over the years.

Approximately 30 hours of hands-on sculpting and glazing. 25 lbs. wet clay, 10 days drying time, 30 hours time in kiln for bisque and glaze fire at approx. 2000 degrees F.
